Fly to Xi'an - March 22nd

We flew from Beijing to Xi'an. We stopped in a park to see a fountain - what a fountain it was too!  Music playing and the water was dancing to the music.  Just as we got there it was music from The Nutcracker Ballet.  It reminded me of a show our parents used to take us to call "Dancing Waters."  We loved that show - this was on a much larger scale - fabulous.  It was Sunday and the park was full of people enjoying the day.

We went to a jade factory.  We then went to a museum that was free to children on Sunday.  Linda and I bought kites for our grand-kids and played outside like like kids flying the test kite.
Bonus - Cherry blossoms!!!
Lots of vendors with cute handmade items.  I bought the little owl back pack - so cute.

Visited the Shaanxi Museum

We visited the wall around Xi'an - it was slightly raining.

That night we had a dumpling dinner and a show and what a show it was too!  The food was adorable and this was really the only dinner I liked.
